II. Social Aims
- provide further study opportunities for young people who want to pursue their higher education and skills
- support the current and future business activities in Cambodia
III. Academic Objectives
- receive good quality education and trainings;
- appreciate the current work environment and development, particularly in Cambodia;
- equip with modern technological skills and Labs
IV. Attainment of Aims and Objectives
The program will enable students to develop their knowledge in Network Engineer field and other related working environment. To achieve the program objectives, well-designed curriculum and innovative teaching methods are adopted.
(a) A good appreciation of the center’s disciplines
Students will be able to attain a solid academic foundation for a career through lectures, seminars and workshops. The core elements to be studied in the program will provide the necessary knowledge required by professional practitioner in the field.
(b) Integration
Case studies, field trips to Telecom and ISP company, presentation practice, service learning, researches and group discussions are likely to be interdisciplinary and instrumental in enabling students to supply practice from an integrated perspective.
(c) Development of research skills
The students will have extensive practice on information gathering and data analysis in completing their course assignments throughout the courses.
(d) Reinforcement of hands-on knowledge and skills
‘Learning-by-doing’ and ‘action-reflection’ are the two major teaching and learning methodologies of the program. By doing a number of researches, being students helpers in activities organized by teachers and the center, attending talks, and participating in other workshops, students can learn the latest development of the field and practice the hands-on skills.
